Course Grand Opening
Celebrate the grand opening of Assiniboine Ridge Disc Golf Course on September 20th. Enjoy tournament play, beginning at 9:30 a.m., “Learn to play” stations and BBQ from 12 to 2 p.m., and enjoy disc golf action throughout the day as we gather to mark this community milestone together.
Members & Friends Night
Join us Wednesdays at 7 p.m., starting April 30th, at Canada Games Park for casual rounds. Meet fellow disc golfers, share ideas, and strengthen our community. Open to members and non-members.
Skill Building Sessions
Starting in May, members can enjoy monthly organized, focused training sessions designed to improve your skills through dedicated fieldwork, putting practice, and round restrictions (think midrange only rounds). Connect with fellow disc golfers, refine your game, and take your skills to the next level in a supportive community.
Sponsorship Presentation
We are thrilled to announce that we have raised enough funds to install a permanent course at Canada Games Park in 2025! This includes baskets, tee pads, and signage.
To celebrate this milestone, you are invited to a cheque presentation at the course on Sunday, February 23rd at 1 p.m., where our main sponsor will be revealed.
We are so excited for the course to become a reality this season and look forward to sharing this historic moment with you, our members.
Bag Tag League
Starting July 17th, we’re kicking off bag tag rounds! This is a fun way to meet other players and enjoy some friendly competition. Join us for the inaugural tag round and earn your first tag! Your performance will determine your tag number – win the round, get the #1 tag! You can challenge a player to play at any time, but league rounds are every Wednesday at 6:30PM at Queen Elizabeth Park, with the final evening of league on September 25th, and challenges ending on September 28th. Optional $2/week ace pot with a 50/50 payout!
Casual Disc Golf Wednesdays
This casual get together of disc golfers is a great way to meet fellow members of the Brandon disc golf community and play a fun, friendly, no-stress round of disc golf! Casual Disc Golf Wednesdays will take place at 7:00PM (unless otherwise noted), and play a object course version of the Queen Elizabeth Park Disc Golf Course (no baskets, only trees)!
